Taking a step away from the wedding and concert direction for photography, I steered towards advertising and fashion which led me to begin shooting introductory models for Savage Models & Management. There, I was tasked with capturing new additions to their roster.
With the array of models that I was partnered with I learned that each of them had different comfort levels in front of a camera. I quickly learned to adapt to each of their needs by taking a humanistic approach, being patient, and providing direction for poses.
As I began shooting model after model, I wanted to ensure that I was also shooting for myself. After fulfilling the need of the agency, I would then later focus on directions tailored more towards myself to test out different techniques, lenses, etc.
