PECKHAM POSTER
Tasked with creating a promotional flyer to highlight a neighborhood in London, I decided to focus on Peckham due to its familiarity to me. Packham is a neighborhood that felt distant from the other neighborhoods within the city, and has also went through major changes in the recent years due to gentrification. Outside of secondary research, I began my findings by taking the tube (London’s subway) to the area for first hand experience and discoveries.

Originally curating the flyer to utilize serifs and being monochromatic, a shift was made to incorporate color and san serifs to better represent the neighborhood that I experienced. Scattered throughout the lettering of Peckham its history about the many changes it’s faced, including its economy.
